WiCare Lekota Foundation is a registered Non-Profit Organization built by the widowed for the widowed as a support system geared towards empowering, enlightening and rehabilitating young widows in the society.
Support us and impact the lives of widows today the loss of a spouse is devastating for many women around the world and that loss is magnified by a long-term struggle for basic needs, human rights and dignity.
Empowering and equipping young widows to become self-reliant through capacity/skill development while maximizing their potential, this will help them enhance their productivity and contribute effectively to the society.

Project Taiye and Kehinde…
WiCare took on the project of the orphaned twin girls Taiye and Kehinde whose widowed mum passed away few weeks after having them; ensuring they get the adequate food and care they need.
WiConnect was organized by WiCare to create a bonding opportunity for young widows and It was an opportunity to network while unwinding.
The 20k Project
The campaign is on for the second batch of “The Project 20k” to support a young widow with 20,000 naira for school fees. Currently, 24 children have been supported and we hope to impact more lives!
Young Widows Empowerment Entrepreneurship Forum (YOWEEF)
Young Widows Empowerment Entrepreneurship Forum (YOWEEF) was an event put together to sensitize young widows to re-engage and do more post loss. Highlight of the event was the empowerment of 6 young widows with 50,000 naira each to help their businesses.
